Returns and exchange policy

Lena May Jewellery takes every effort to ensure that the item that you are purchasing leaves our freight department in perfect condition; However, should you receive an item that is broken, faulty or otherwise damaged, please contact our customer service department via email to initiate a return, refund or exchange.

Whilst we hope that every piece we offer will be exactly what you are after, Lena May Jewellery understands that you may change your mind on receipt of the item/s. Please be mindful that we do not provide refund for non-faulty items, but will happily organise for an alternate piece of equal, or lesser value. Refund or exchange is not available for custom, or made-to-order, jewellery as these are tailor-made bespoke items made to your specific requirements


All orders within Australia incur a 10% Goods and Service Tax (GST) charge. All prices shown on the website are inclusive of GST. International purchases will be quoted a GST free price at the checkout.


Lena May Jewellery values your privacy. We only collect personal information including your name, address, email , phone numbers and shipping details for the purpose of providing a timely service that is tailored to your requirements.  We may also use knowledge of your preferences to personalise your shopping experience on our site only. Any and all information provided to Lena May Jewellery will be kept strictly confidential and is completely destroyed when no longer required. Lena May Jewellery makes every effort to ensure that the photographic representation of the jewellery is as accurate as possible and that all reasonable effort is taken to ensure that the piece that you purchase will resemble the depiction online.


Layby T&Cs

How do I start a Layby?

- Add your pieces to your cart. The minimum order total for a layby is $50.

- At checkout, select the 'Layby' option.

- Pay your deposit amount, via direct debit or credit card options, and choose a payment plan.

When will I receive my jewellery?

Your items will be posted to you on completion of your last instalment/payment. You will be notified via email of your item being posted.  

What deposit amount is required?

A 20% deposit is required to place layby. The minimum deposit amount is automatically calculated and shown in the payment details.

Can I cancel my layby order?

You may cancel your layby within 30 days of placement and receive a refund or exchange of equal value for funds already paid. Should you cancel after 30 days, we will only be able to provide goods to an equal or lesser value of the amount already received. Special order, custom made, or made-to-order jewellery that is paid for via layby cannot be cancelled as it is a bespoke purchase made specifically to your requirements.

What are the payment terms and how can I check the progress?

You can only layby and item if you have an online account. You can register by clicking on the 'Sign in' tab at the top of the website and then selecting the 'Create an account' tab and following the instructions.

A layby is broken up into four equal elements over the selected layby period (one, two or three months). The layby plan will set out all payments shown and their due dates. You can also change the initial deposit to be a larger payment. A minimum 20% deposit is required and laybys must be of $50 total value or more. After confirming your plan requirements, you can now process payment of the deposit by your selected means.

You can check the details of all of your transactions - including laybys - by logging on and selecting your name at the top right hand side of the website which will take you to your customer account.
